Launch-day blocks

The Hook Blocks a pool can carry, what each one does, and what it costs a swap.

Reading this page

Each block below is on its own pool at its default settings, on top of the default 0.3% base LP fee (which isn't counted here). “—” means the block charges nothing on that side: it refuses, limits or redirects instead. Ranges move with the block's own rules, such as a Snipe tax that decays over the guard or a dynamic fee that climbs with the size of a move. Recapture charges arbitrage profit, not the swap, so its column shows “—”.

Sample settings, not live data: a real pool's numbers are in its PoolParams, and the builder prices any combination.

Guards for the first minutes

  • Anti-Snipe opens a guard window. Buys pay a decaying Snipe tax to LPs, each slot has a buy budget for the whole launch (BuyCapExceeded), exact-out buys are refused, and only the launch position may add liquidity until it ends.
  • Wallet Cap caps what each wallet buys during the guard, across every pool of the launch: see Wallet Cap.
  • Buy/Sell Block can hold buys for up to an hour after opening and lock sells for up to a minute.
  • A new token's buys open 12 seconds after the launch finalizes in any case, so the opening price is visible before the first buy.

Launch options

These aren't per-swap blocks; they are set once by the launch flow.

  • Canonical Venue Token · Partial. A new token that moves only between wallets and reel's own vaults.
  • Revenue Router · In reel-vaults. Shares the creator royalty among up to 8 payees at fixed shares.
  • Dev buy and lock · Launch option. One first buy per pool inside the launch, then the launch liquidity stays locked.
  • Liquidity lock · Launch option. Keeps the launch liquidity in its pools for a set time, or hands the launch to a lock.
  • Supply you keep · Launch option. Declares on chain the most of a new token's supply the creator may hold at launch.
  • Vesting Milestone · Periphery, coming. Locks a team allocation that vests after a cliff, then linearly.
  • Dev Drip · Periphery, coming. Releases the creator's own allocation through the pool, a slice per window.
  • Multi-pool launch · Launch option. Opens one token in up to 8 pools at once, each with its own quote and blocks.
  • Supply split · Launch option. Seeds each pool of a new token with an exact share of the supply.
  • Opening price check · Launch option. Fails the launch if a pool opens too far from pool 1's price.
