What it does
A split whose address is known before it exists. You name it as the royalty recipient at launch and it pays up to 8 payees at fixed shares that add up to 100%. It has no owner, can't change, takes no fee and never runs inside a swap.
How it works on reel
reel-vaults' router module: a split PDA whose address follows from its terms, so it can be named as royalty_to at PoolInit; anyone creates it later with exactly those terms. Royalty is credited to its reel ledger, anyone collects it into the split, and each payee claims (or anyone pushes to a payee that is not pull-only).
Settings
reel fixes this block's settings when it ships beside the pool. For reference, hookr's:
1 to 8 payees, each at least 0.01%, adding up to exactly 100%.
Fees and who's paid
Paid to
Up to 8 payees by fixed share.
Protocol share
reel takes no share of it.
Requires and can't be combined with
Requires
No other block.
Can't be combined with
Nothing: it sits beside any block.
Worked example
A 10% royalty to a 50/30/20 split: 10,000 USDC of buys at the default blocks makes 16 USDC of royalty, paid as 8, 4.8 and 3.2 USDC.
Solana notes
It works as on hookr; amounts are in SOL or the pool's quote, and times in seconds.
