What it does

Rounds align to UTC. The biggest single buy of each round leads; at the close the king, or a podium of two or three, takes a prize from a pot that arbitrage recapture and routed charges fill, capped by what the winning buy paid the protocol. Part of what is left streams to LPs every round.

How it works on reel

A pool joins the round in progress if at least half remains. The largest buy by gross spend A ≥ kotp_min_buy from an on-curve signer at top level leads; one place per wallet, a tie doesn't pass, and a sell in the same slot restores the podium. Each place's cap = ½·(protocol cut of LP Rewards + burn on that buy)·(1 − integrator). KotpSettle (anyone; the SDK prepends it to the first swap after a round) credits min(pot·share_i, cap_i, spend_i·rate₁) to ledgers and releases 1 − (1 − r)ⁿ of the rest to LPs.

Worked example

LP Rewards 2%, Auto Burn 1%, a 20% share: a winning 20 SOL buy paid reel 0.12 SOL, so its prize caps at 0.06 SOL. With a 0.6 SOL pot and 50% release, 0.27 SOL of the 0.54 SOL left streams to LPs.
