Buy-later launch

A launch that lets buyers commit now and pay full price later, beside a crown pool and a desk.

The commitment is a covered call on the launch position’s fees, so it costs the pools nothing.

Sample settings, not live data. Each pool’s board uses the catalog’s defaults plus the recipe’s choices, and passes the builder’s checks. Keys such as payees, mints and feeds are named when you launch.

How the pools work together

The two pools trade from launch. Pay Later sits beside them in reel-vaults: a covered call written on the launch position’s fees. Until its module ships, the launch runs as a plain crown pool and desk.

What is coming or partial

  • Pay Later (Periphery, coming). Coming: the paylater module is built and tested in reel-vaults' source, not in the deployed build yet. It arrives with an upgrade at the same address.
  • Arb recapture (Partial). Partial: Solana has no in-swap executor callback like Uniswap v4's, so reel charges the swap that closes a gap against a reference price instead of running a partner's arbitrage (PROGRAM.md §12). A stale or missing reference skips it.

Steps

  1. Open both pools’ boards in the builder and name the least buy that counts.
  2. Create the launch with weights 70/30, add the pools and finalize.
  3. Add Pay Later once its reel-vaults module ships.
