Binary Star

Two teams launch sibling tokens that buy each other’s reserve: a duo, two sides of one game, a token and its DAO.

Each token’s trading funds the other’s reserve pool, so neither side grows alone.

How the pools work together

SUN and MOON each open a crowd market on SOL and a reserve pool that only the other side’s zap vault may buy. MOON’s USDC pool sends 1% of every buy to a vault that buys SUN’s reserve; SUN’s USDT pool does the same for MOON. Anyone may sell either reserve at any time.

What is coming or partial

  • Arb recapture (Partial). Partial: Solana has no in-swap executor callback like Uniswap v4's, so reel charges the swap that closes a gap against a reference price instead of running a partner's arbitrage (PROGRAM.md §12). A stale or missing reference skips it.
  • Zap Relay target (Partial). Partial: the gate is in reel, but the feeder vaults that buy are reel-vaults' zap module (coming), so until it runs nothing can buy the pool.
  • Zap Relay source (Partial). Partial: the cut accrues on reel and is paid to the zap vault named at launch; the vault that buys the target pool is reel-vaults' zap module (coming).

Steps

  1. Launch SUN first, since MOON’s feeder names SUN’s reserve vault.
  2. Launch MOON with its feeder pointing at SUN’s zap vault.
  3. Open MOON’s reserve as a second launch of MOON, then SUN’s feeder as a second launch of SUN.
  4. Check each reserve pool lists exactly its feeder vault before you finalize.
