Treasury desk

For a DAO or foundation holding a large share of its own token: a managed desk and a pool where back-runs pay.

The treasury supplies depth on reel’s terms and can later sell over time or bid under the market from the same place.

Sample settings, not live data. Each pool’s board uses the catalog’s defaults plus the recipe’s choices, and passes the builder’s checks. Keys such as payees, mints and feeds are named when you launch.

How the pools work together

The desk’s surcharge, moved by reel’s fee keeper inside a 1% cap, pays LPs when markets move fast. Sandwich Guard charges back-runs on the USDC pool. Selling the treasury’s tokens over time (Dev Drip) and a standing bid under the market (Floor bid) sit beside the pools in reel-vaults.

What is coming or partial

  • Dev Drip (Periphery, coming). Coming: the escrow module is built and tested in reel-vaults' source, not in the deployed build yet. It arrives with an upgrade at the same address.
  • Arb recapture (Partial). Partial: Solana has no in-swap executor callback like Uniswap v4's, so reel charges the swap that closes a gap against a reference price instead of running a partner's arbitrage (PROGRAM.md §12). A stale or missing reference skips it.
  • Floor bid (Partial). Partial: live in reel-vaults' orders module as a standing buy order that anyone re-prices to TWAP × (1 − offset) once per cooldown (at least 30 minutes), never past the owner's worst price. reel pools are full-range, so it is a taker order, not a single-sided LP range: it earns no LP fees and closes on its first fill.

Steps

  1. Open both boards in the builder and keep the desk’s cap at 1%.
  2. Create an existing-token launch, seed both pools from the treasury and finalize.
  3. Lock the launch with the treasury as beneficiary so it collects the fees.
