What it does

The pool's owner sets up a reserve beside the pool and anyone tops it up to a ceiling. After an incident the owner declares it with a reviewer's signature, which locks part of the reserve; claims open after a delay and run for a window, each with its own signed attestation, and what is unclaimed returns. It is money set aside in public view, not a lock.

How it works on reel

reel-vaults' reserve module: a reserve PDA per pool, set up by the launch owner. Its named reviewer co-signs each incident and each claim as a transaction signer, in place of EIP-712 attestations. Nothing in the pool program reads it.

Settings

reel fixes this block's settings when it ships beside the pool. For reference, hookr's:

One incident locks 5–100% (50%); a ceiling per pool; claim window 1 h–30 d (7 d); unclaimed returns after 1 h–30 d (3 d).

Fees and who's paid

Paid to

Claimants the reviewer signs for. reel takes nothing.

Protocol share

reel takes no share of it.

Requires and can't be combined with

Requires

No other block.

Can't be combined with

Nothing: it sits beside any block.

Worked example

A reserve holds 10 SOL. An incident locks 5 SOL (50%); claims of 1.5, 1.2 and 0.5 SOL are paid; after the window 1.8 SOL returns, leaving 6.8 SOL.

Solana notes

It works as on hookr; amounts are in SOL or the pool's quote, and times in seconds.
