FEEIn the programBit 22

Minimum fee

A small fee to reel on a new token's pool that pays reel nothing else.

Where it runs

Fee

Sets or adds to what the swap pays.

Status on reel

In the program

In the program as bit 22, set by PoolInit itself. Not a hookr block: hookr calls it the Hookr minimum.

Set by

The program, at PoolInit

Frozen in PoolParams at PoolInit; nobody can change it after.

What it does

Not a block a creator picks. A new token's pool with no block that pays the protocol (no recapture, LP Rewards, Auto Burn, Snipe tax, dynamic fee, Storm Fee, Swap Cut, Exit Clock or Sandwich Guard) pays a minimum fee to the protocol on every swap. Tokens launched elsewhere never pay it.

How it works on reel

PoolInit sets it, not the creator: min_fee_pips = Config.min_fee_pips (0 to 10,000; 1,000 in the spec), 100% to the protocol, with an integrator's share applying. It is decided once, at open.

Fees and who's paid

Paid to

reel, 100% (a listed integrator gets its rate of it).

Protocol share

A fixed split set by the program, not the pool's protocol share.

Requires and can't be combined with

Requires

No other block.

Can't be combined with

Nothing: it sits beside any block.

Worked example

A new token's pool with only the base fee: a 1 SOL swap pays 0.003 SOL to LPs and 0.001 SOL to reel.

Solana notes

It works as on hookr; amounts are in SOL or the pool's quote, and times in seconds.

On hookr: Not a block on hookr (the Hookr minimum)
