OWN HOOKPeriphery, comingBeside the pool

Entry Ratio Guarantee

LPs can exit with the token amounts they put in, covered by forfeited fees.

Where it runs

Own hook

Runs on pools of its own, without the other blocks.

Status on reel

Periphery, coming

Coming: the `erg` module is built and tested in reel-vaults' source, not in the deployed build yet. It arrives with an upgrade at the same address.

What it does

LPs deposit through a vault and can later exit with the amounts they put in rather than the pool's current mix, paid from a reserve that fills only from fees other LPs forfeit. Best effort, not insurance.

How it works on reel

reel-vaults' erg module: an LP hands a reel Position to the pool's guarantee, which records its entry amounts. Its LP fees go to the pool's shared cover while guaranteed; on a covered exit the vault pays the shortfall, valued at reel's TWAP over at least 30 minutes and capped at the position's share of the cover. A ticket can leave only once it matures (min_hold to twice that).

Settings

reel fixes this block's settings when it ships beside the pool. For reference, hookr's:

Lock term 1 d–2 y (30 d); option window 1 h–2 y (7 d); fees an option gives up 10–100% (25%); protocol share of forfeits 20–50% (20%).

Fees and who's paid

Paid to

Exiting LPs, from the cover. Every forfeited fee stays in the cover; reel takes no share.

Protocol share

reel takes no share of it.

Requires and can't be combined with

Requires

No other block.

Can't be combined with

Nothing: it sits beside any block.

Worked example

A depositor on a 30-day lock exits with the SOL and USDC amounts it entered with; the reserve pays the side it ran short of and takes the same value of the side it gained.

Solana notes

It works as on hookr; amounts are in SOL or the pool's quote, and times in seconds.
